Welcome to my graphic and web design blogspot. My name is James Brown and I am currently based in Christchurch in New Zealand, but I am originally from the UK.
Knowledge & Background //
I have a very strong sense of layout, web usability design and information architecture, a good knowledge of HTML editing and CSS, excellent Flash design skills for web design, animation and on-line game creation. A good knowledge of graphic design for on-line and print purposes, of related design packages and of on-line marketing techniques, search engine optimizing and meta-tag labelling and an excellent eye for digital photography and image editing.
I am easy going and hard working, work very well in a team or on my own iniative.
Overall I have a very stong sense of style (influenced by Bauhaus, dance culture and Attik) and web site usability and the work shown here is just a small snapshot of my entire portfolio.
I am currently looking for full time employment as a web designer and available for freelance project based work either in house or remote and available for interviews and meetings as of now.
